Mr. Wilford Ray "Buzz" Brazell, 76, of Anderson, Missouri passed away at his home on Monday, May 13, 2013.

Buzz entered this life on September 20, 1936 in Neosho, Missouri to the late Ottie LeRoy and Wanda Ava (Ball) Brazell. He married Jewell Leckner on June 29, 1956 and to this union four daughters were born. He lived all of his life in Anderson, Missouri. He worked as a supervisor and the night superintendent for JJ Food, Honey Bear Food and Tyson Food from 1955 until his retirement in 2003. He was a member of the Territorial Trail Riders from 1969 to 1978. Buzz served as a Newton County Reserve Deputy and Newton County Posse from 1978 to 1980; McDonald County Reserve Deputy and McDonald County Posse from 1980 to 2000. He was a member of the Putnam Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Brazell; a daughter, Debbie Brazell; five brothers, William Earl Brazell, Gene Brazell, Earl Brazell, Clarence Brazell and Riley Ware; three sisters, Bertha Fay Brazell, Nellie Brown and Georgia Mahurin.

Buzz is survived by his three daughters, Kerry Jo Spears and husband, Dennis of Anderson, Missouri, Terri Lynn Allen and husband, Deron of Harrison Bay, Tennessee, Rhonda Ava Hall and husband, James of Jane, Missouri; a sister, Clonadell (Brazell) Bertalotto of Rocky Comfort, Missouri; three grandchildren, Derek Allen, Travis Spears and Kyle Hall; along with a host of other family, friends and neighbors who will dearly miss Buzz.

Funeral services for Buzz Brazell will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. Burial will follow the service at the Union Cemetery in Stella, Missouri. Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
