BANKSTON Rose Marie Keeth, age 79, of Bankston, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at Norwood Chapel with Rev. Jerry Montgomery and Rev. Ed Steelman officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell-Rose Hill Cemetery with Norwood Chapel of Fayette directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Keeth was born July 23, 1932, in Fayette, the daughter of the late Curtis and Myrtle Ruth Hocutt Utley. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Bankston. Mrs. Keeth was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lavone Keeth.

Survivors include three daughters, Beverly Hughes (Bryan) of Northside and Karon Collins (Randall) and Kathy Bauer (Charles), both of Fayette; one son, Allen Keeth (Debbie) of Bankston; eight grandchildren, Crystal Ashby, Whitney Simmons, Michelle Moore, Hunter Collins, Lauren Hughes, Wesley Hughes, Haley Keeth, and Matthew Keeth; and three great-grandchildren, Dillion Lowery, Lane Lowery, and Baylee-Kate Moore.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Hughes, Hunter Collins, Matt Keeth, Derek Ashby, Wesley Simmons, Dillion Lowery, and Lane Lowery.

Honorary pallbearers are Hopewell and New Chapel community, Lucille Brannon, Rebeth Cobb, Scottie Brown, Susan Duke, and Camille Sanford.
