Mrs. Nonie Mae Trammel, age 92, of Gardendale, AL, passed away June 9, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus H. Trammel; brothers, Charlie Fant and Gene Fant; sister, Florence Fant; and parents, G.B. and Dora Fant.
Mrs. Trammel was a longtime member of Vinesville Baptist Church and current member of Gardendale's First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Charles (Betty) Trammel, Jimmy (Barbara) Trammel, George (Glenda) Trammel and John (Linda) Trammel; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lillian Hill of Memphis, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 2 PM at Gardendale Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Dr. John Hambright and Rev. Bill Barnett officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday
evening from 5:30 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
