Kathleen Vivian Godwin,of Westminster,Colorado, died of complications of cancer at her daughters home in Corydon, Iowa.

Kathleen was born in Des Moines, Iowa and had lived here and in Norwalk, Iowa before moving to Westminster 12 years ago.She was a retired accounting assistant with Jefferson County in Colorado,a member of Mountain View Church in Westminster and a volunteer with SHARE there. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. She loved to have fun and enjoyed life.

She is survived by her son, Larry Gibbony of Turkey;three daughters, Cynthia Hall of Des Moines and Suzanne Gibboney and Melinda Martly,both of Corydon; a step-son, Garth Godwin of Westminster,a step-daughter,Karen Madren of Redfield;two sisters,Darlene Mitchel of Casper,Wyomong and Winifred McDonough of Des Moines;eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands,Fred Gibboney and Ralph W.Godwin
