Charles Herman Burnham was the son of James C. Burnham and Luvina Jane Huggins. He was born in Iowa on September 13, 1869. He married (first) Lena Belle Bestor in Iowa, in 1896. In the 1900 United States Federal Census, it shows they had Lottie L. age 3, and Harry G. age 1. Lena died in 1906. In the 1910 United States Federal Census, it shows he was married to Bessie May Douglas (second), which they were married in Des Moines, Iowa on October 19, 1907. In that same census , Beulah Z Huffman was listed as step-daughter. Charles and Bessie divorced prior to 1929, as he married (third) Stella Roden in Redfield, Iowa on February 25, 1929. They remained in Linden, Iowa, where he passed, on January 25, 1944, and she did on June 10, 1953. He was survived by his children; Harry Glenn, Lottie Lavina, William James, and Carroll Dean Burnham.
