Mrs. Quinn died at her home in Fairbury, 1129 F St., on Monday, May 9, 1921, at the age of 62 years, 3 months and 3 days. She was ill about two weeks with pneumonia.
Mary Frances Fisk was born in Dekalb county, Ind., Feb. 6, 1859; moved with her parents to Marshalltown, Iowa, in 1868, then with her father to Jefferson county, Nebraska, in 1873 and has lived here ever since, nearly fifty years. She was married on December 20, 1877, to Wm. T. Quinn. Five children were born of whom two are living, three daughters having preceded their mother in death. The husband and two sons, Wallace of North Platte and Leo of Fairbury, survive; also one sister, Mrs. Alice Wagner of Omaha and four grandchildren, who have made their home with her since the death of their mother, Mrs. Bronson, several years ago.
Mrs. Quinn united with the Christian church in Fairbury in 1878 and was a member at the time of her death.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Christian church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. C. C. Buckner. Burial was in the Fairbury cemetery.
