Funeral services for Mr. Noble N. Prewitt Jr., 73, will be held on Saturday May 11, 2013 in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home 340 East Prien Lake Road Lake Charles, LA.
Mr. Prewitt was born to the union of Noble and Annie White Prewitt in Winnsboro, LA on October 22, 1939 and passed from this life on Thursday afternoon May 9, 2013 at his residence.
He was resident of Monroe, LA, past resident of Lake Charles; retired supervisor with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office and retired 21 years with the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. He was a member of Eastridge Baptist Church, and the Westlake Masonic Lodge; he was also a 32nd degree Shriner. He had a passion for wood working especially making furniture and enjoyed attending sporting events played by his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years Shirley L. Prewitt; his children Mark, Renee, Keith, Joe, Scott, Andrew, Veronica, Vito and Valerie; also survived by a host of grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 10AM Saturday at Lakeside Funeral Home.
