Dr. Andrew B. Ginocchio, a native of San Francisco who came to Santa Cruz in 1946, died Saturday at the age of 76.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; Santa Cruz Lodge No. 824, B.P.O.E.; Olympic Club of San Francisco and was a lifetime member of the California Dental Assn.

He was a graduate of St. Ignatius College in San Francisco, Santa Clara University and University of California Medical School.

He was a veteran of both World War I and World War II, serving as an ambulance driver in France during the First World War and as a commander in the Navy during the Second World War.

He practiced dentistry in San Francisco for several years. He retired in 1970.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Ginocchio of Capitola; a niece; three grand-nieces and a grandnephew.

Services will be from White's Chapel. 138 Walnut Ave., then to at 11:45 a.m. Monday St. Joseph Church. Capitola, for a mass of the resurrection at 12:15 p.m. Rosary will be said in Wh [sic]

Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
