Survived by four sons - Jim, Tom, Charlie and Wesley Blanton; five daughters - Miss Sarah Jane Blanton, Mrs. Johnny Belle Barnett, Mrs. Vera Greer, Mrs. Willie Barnett, Mrs. Stella Ray; 28 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

William Jacob Blanton, who lived seven miles west of Aspermont, Texas, Stonewall county, died at his home April 6, and the funeral occurred at Double Mountain cemetery with Rev. Priddy, of Haskell, and Rev. Smith of Aspermont in charge of same. Kinney Funeral Home, Stamford had charge of the arrangements.
Deceased had lived in Stonewall county since 1916.
Surviving are five daughters: Miss Sarah Jane Blanton, Mrs. John Bell Barnett and Mrs. Vera Greer, all of Aspermont; Mrs. Willie Barnett of Austin; Mrs. Stella Ray Trus of Luna, NM. There are 28 grandchildren also 7 great grand children.
Mr. Blanton was a member of the Nazarene church.
