Carl Nolan Blair died on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 to be with the Lord at the age of 103.
Mr. Blair lived a long and courageous life, he always put his family before himself and was quick to help a neighbor in need. He believed strongly in the words of Christ and lived them in his day to day life. We will miss you, Husband, Daddy, Papaw, and Friend.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Edna Blair, his son Charles Blair, and his grandson Steve Austin.
He is survived by his children; Pauline Atchley, Ed Blair, Dimple Blair, Doris Griffith and Deborah Wilson; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 13, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Carl Allison and Rev. Brian Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Joe Griffith, Chester Williams, James Wilson, Jr., DeWayne Wilson, Brandon Wilson and Rex Blair.
