Fred Abendroth, a farmer at Highland, died last evening at 10:45 P.M. of a complicated illness from which he had suffered for about a year. Mr. Abendroth had attained the age of 71 years, 7 months and five days. He was a member of the Modern Woodman of America.
Mr. Abendroth is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Abendroth, five daughters, Mrs. Robert Meyer, Mrs. Joseph Brenger, Mrs. Charles Kolez, Mrs. Edmund Matter and Misses Edna and Esther Abendroth, all of whom reside in Highland, one sister, Mrs. Charles Hoefle, of Highland, two brothers, August Abendroth, of St. Louis, and Julius Abendroth of Highland.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 P.M., the Rev. C.E. Miche officiating. Interment will be in the Highland Cemetery.
