"Father of Mrs. O. G. Cavanaugh Dies

On receiving word that her father Gilmore Johnson was on the verge of death, Mrs. O. G. Cavanaugh left Wednesday morning at ten o'clock for Kennewick where he lived about two hours after Mrs. Cavanaugh left, a telegram was received announcing Mr. Johnson's death. Mrs. Cavanaugh had hoped to arrive at the bedside of her father before his death, but her hopes were futile.

Mr. Johnson will be remembered by people here as living on the old Longaker ranch on East Hill near the Hazelwood school about fifteen years ago and later conducted the Fashion hotel here."
