Funeral services—for - Elizabeth
Branch Hutchinson, 71, of 209 Lassiter
Drive, Dublin, will be held at 2 p.m.
Friday in the chapel .of Townsend
Brothers Funeral Home. The Rev.
Mark Rhodes will officiate. Burial will
be in Dublin Memorial Gardens.
A lifelong resident of Laurens
County, Mrs. Hutchinson was the
daughter of the late William A. and
Virginia Ganus Branch and the wife of
the late Paul Hutchinson. She was
retired from the U.S. Postal Service
after 30 years service and was a
member of the Letter Carrier's
Association. She was a member of the
Independent Methodist Church and the
Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Hutchinson died suddenly
Wednesday morning.
Survivors include a son, Paul E.
Hutchinson Jr. of Louisville; two
sisters, Cressie Wiggins of St. Simons
Island and Evelyn Smith of Glenwood;
a brother, Olen Branch of Glenwood; a
grandson, Richard Paul Hutchinson of
Louisville; and several nieces and
nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Rawls,
J.Z. Thomas, Zenus Thomas, Glen
Boatwright, Roy Calhoun and Dewey
Mrs. Hutchinson will lie in state at
Townsend Brothers Funeral Home till
the funeral hour.
