Billie Morse passed away peacefully on May 6, 2013, surrounded by her loved ones. Billie will be remembered for her extraordinary hospitality, and her love of gardening, sewing, and playing cards. Family was very important to her and she cherished the time she got to spend with each of them. She worked at Terrell State Hospital for 26 years. She was also a valued member of First Assembly of God Church in Terrell for over 62 years.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Stewart Angus and Beulah (Daum) David; husband of over 66 years, L.B., who passed away in 2011; son, Robert Wayne Morse; and sisters, Audrey Lewis and Adlene Dennis. Those left to celebrate her memory are son J.L. and wife Jana, daughter Belinda Minihan, and daughter-in-law Karon; grandchildren Jonathan Morse and wife Jessica, Jeremy Morse and wife Trish, Stephen Morse, John Morse, Lelton Morse and wife Phyllis, Christie Morse-Cox and husband Kevin, and Teresa Kruse and husband Dwight; and great-grandchildren Corwin, Jonas, Josiah, Lelton Wayne, Michael John, Nathan Vincent, and Brittany. She is also survived by sisters Helen Belcher, Kitty Cernoch, and Bernice Gross, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, who will all miss her greatly.
