ALEXANDER, WILLIAM HIRAM, age 73, of Tarrant, died December 31, 2006. He was owner and operator of Alexander Welding Supply. Veteran of the United States Marines serving in the Korean War. He was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 4, at 11 a.m. at Morgan's @ Gardendale with burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Rev. Nelson Hannah officiating. Visitaton will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors: devoted wife of 51 years, Anne Alexander; daughter, Carolyn (Riley) Bibb of Tarrant; sons, David (Donna) Alexander of Amarillo, TX and Marlon (Sharon) Alexander of Gardendale; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild; also survived by several brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Morgans @ Gardendale Funeral Home directing.
