Anthony P. Trenney, 77, of Blairsville RD 3, died Sunday, January 11, 1976, at Latrobe Area Hospital.
A son of the late Frank and Anna Fisher Trenney, he was born June 17, 1898 at Madison.
Mr. Trenney was a retired carpenter by trade and lived for the past 30 years in the Blairsville area.
Surviving are five sons: Ira F., Greensburg; Anthony J., Yacalpa, Calif,; Charles H., McIntyre; Ronald L., Blairsville RD 3, Thomas E., Painesville, Ohio; seven daughters; Mrs. Anna M. Lewis, Mrs. Harold (Dorothy) Patz, Mrs. Audrey Way, Mrs. Ronald (Edith) Hill, all of Blairsville RD 3; Mrs. William (Virginia) Whitehead, Latrobe; Mrs. Bernard (Joanne) Kupistek, Golden, Colo.; Mrs. David (Eileen) Smith, Mentor, Ohio; 40 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine on June 17, 1974.
The family is receiving friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Richard L. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Blairsville. The body will be removed to the Middletown United Methodist Church, Middletown, at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Services will be held from the church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. J. Harold Smith officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
