Jo Ann Farmer Dover, of the Dacusville Community, entered into the Presence of God on May 7, 2013. Born on November 30, 1934 in Newry, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Farmer, Sr., and Pauline Virginia Gilden Farmer. She attended Slater-Marietta Elementary and High Schools, and earned her A.A. Degree from North Greenville Junior College. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a brother, James Edward Farmer., Jr., and three grandchildren. Left to celebrate her memory are her husband of 59 years, Ross Dover of the home, son Keith Dover of Travelers Rest, son and daughter-in-law Chris and Jeni Dover of Dacusville, and 6 grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Nine Forks Baptist Church. The family will receive friends in the church from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Nine Forks Baptist Church. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.thehowzemortuary.com.
