By 1860 Census she is listed as a widow living in Hopkinton, MA with daughter Mary
1870 census lists her as living with son Owen, near another son Michael, in Worcester, MA
Multipule unsourced trees from ancestry.com believe it is possible that her married name was Kirk or Quirk from son Owens death certificate - Son Patrick's marriage records list parents as Thomas McEvoy/McAvoy and Catherine Kirk
Also there is a death record for a Catherine McEvoy 1885 with the father Owen Kirk (no mother) in Worcester, MA, but the age is off by 10 years. Now it is possible that the person supplying the information didn't know her correct age or just errored in their time of grief. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find the 1880 census of Worcester, MA to see if she was still in the location and alive. This record seems possible as the son Owen Catherine was living with could have been named after her father, they both have a connection to the Kirk name regardless of spelling, and the last known location is correct.
It is also worth mentioning that in the Worcester City directories, a possible match for Catherine McEvoy is listed as the widow of Thomas.
Catherine's father is listed as Owen Kirk per her death record. The back of her son Owen's grave reads: Children of Thomas and Catherine McEvoy Natives of Co. Louth Ireland
Location of burial unknown, but wanted to link the children together.
