Alvena Faye Myler, age 85, a life long resident of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri.
Faye was born January 18, 1922 in Carrollton, Missouri, the daughter of William Lewis and Mary E. (Williams) Lightfoot. She graduated from Carrollton High School.
Faye was first married to Carr W. Lane on April 2, 1938, and later married William J. Myler on November 12, 1957. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1981. Faye was a housewife.
Her parents and two brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Reverend Ken Prewitt officiating.
The body lay in state prior to the service on Thursday at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Southside Baptist Church of Carrollton in memory of Mrs. Myler.
