Robert S. Barrett was the son of Stanley C. and Helen M. Young Barrett, and was the youngest of a family of seven children: Carl A., Lois S., Luther (Skip), Elmer A. (Bud), James, and Robert's twin brother, Howard.
Bob was a member of the Old Saybrook High School graduating Class of 1959, joining the Navy shortly after graduation. He was the husband of Nile R. Bassett Barrett and the father of a son, Morgan David Barrett, and a daughter, Marlow Ripley Barrett.
His zest and enthusiasm will be forever missed by his family and friends.
