Horatio was one of the founding trustees of the Ebenezer Methodist Church in Neersville, Loudoun County.

Much of the above biography is from "Our Ancestors, Havlik, LaHue, Ryman, Wisdom" by Laurence L. Wisdom now under the stewardship of Jan Lange.

The following describes the cemetery and was orginally posted by the creator of this memorial:

The old Ebenezer Methodist Episcopol Church was located just off Harpers Ferry Road near Neersville, in Loudoun County, Virginia. The remains of the church and cemetery are in terrible shape with the majority of the stones deep in the thicketts and brush.

Thank you to Jon Coulter for his diligence in finding this and other tombstones in this cemetery.
