She was a faithful member of Bethel Assembly Of God Church in Sedalia. Elizabeth was blessed with the gifts of hospitality, encouragement, and generosity. She gave of herself to her Lord and Savior, her family, friends, and anyone in need. Her faith in Christ was joyfully shared with many. She was a woman of great compassion and love. She hosted Bible studies, taught Sunday School classes, and always helped where needed. Elizabeth's love for the Lord was always evident.
She is survived by one son, Claude Eugene (Gene) North, Jr. and wife Donna of Sedalia; four daughters, Paula Page and husband Ronnie of Sedalia, Gayle Hankins of Sedalia, Marsha Kline and husband Jeff of Wichita, KS, Sheryl Pruitt and husband Mike of Wichita, KS; one sister, Jessie Savage of Sedalia; twelve grandchildren,twenty-six great grandchildren. She was preceded by one infant daughter, Jeanette Kay North; four brothers, Eddie Pettis, Phillip Pettis, Tommy Pettis, Donald Pettis; five sisters, Artie Blakley, Mildred Hargrave, Geneva Dunn, Georgie McLaughlin, Shirley Jo Pettis.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday Jan. 17th at Bethel Assembly Of God Church, 1201 Wm Parkhurst Drive, Sedalia, with Rev. Dr. Bracy Hill officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Hargrave, Sam Hargrave, Raymon Hargrave, Jeremy North, Chad North, John Paxton. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the church. Memorials to Bethel Assembly Of God Youth Group. Arrangements by Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home.
