Mrs. Arie Bomgaars, nee Cornelia De Bruin, was born July 24, 1860.
She married Arie Bomgaars February 14, 1883.
In the spring they moved to Sioux County and lived here all but five years. She died April 7, at the age of 88 years.
Mr. and Mrs. Bomgaars were the parents of five children.
Those living are Marinus at Hull, John of Orange City, Nick and Nellie, Mrs. Peter Verrips of Sioux Center.
Her husband preceded her in death January 6, 1907 and also her son, Frank on September 29, 1947.
She had 14 grandchildren and 27 great grand children.
Funeral services were held April 11 at the Marinus Bomgaars home, at Hull, at whose home she passed away, and in Middelburg Reformed church with Rev. William De Jong of Hull in charge.

Funeral services were held on Monday from the Bomgaars home and Middleburg Ref. church.
Three sons and one daughter survive, they are Marinus of Hull, John of Orange City, Nick of Sioux Center and Nellie, Mrs. Peter Verrips of Sioux Center.
