Albert was VP of Herman Loescher Co., a Tanner by trade following in his father's profession. He was an Alderman for Chicago's 44th Ward (Lincoln Park) and served 3 terms from 1925-1933. He was a Post Commander of the American Legion and member of Medinah Shrine Temple, Oriental Consistory. He had both a Military and a Masonic Service, and his ashes were spread at the Cemetery on April 18, 1950. Albert had a sister Elsie Loescher Kirk and a brother Frederick Herman Loescher.
