Funeral of James Coltson
Funeral services for James Coltson, who was
killed when struck by an automobile on the
highway near his home east of Kingston on
Tuesday night, Dec. 10, were held on Friday,
Dec. 13, in the Kingston Baptist church. Rev.
B. A. Sherk officiated and burial was in the
Kingston cemetery,
Mr. Coltson is survived by his wife, Louise,
and four children, Mrs. Mary Cannon of
Lamotte, Basil Coltson of Detroit, Irl and
Harold, of Kingston. He also leaves three
sisters, Mrs. Ed Langin of Woodstock, Ont.,
Mrs. Margaret Harris of Detroit and Mrs. R.
Cameron of Carlisle, Pa., and two brothers,
Ed, of Burgessvitle, Ont., and John of
Kingston. He has lived on the same farm
where he settled when he came here over
40 years ago from Woodstock, Ont.
