Jessie Paul Chitwood
(June 13, 1942 - May 5, 2013)

Jessie Paul Chitwood son of Alta Kile Chitwood and Tince Clell Chitwood was born June 13, 1942 in Shannon County, Missouri. He departed this life at Brent B. Tinnin Manor in Ellington, Missouri, on May 5, 2013, at the age of 70.

On July 18, 2003 in Ellington, Missouri, Paulie was united in marriage to Katherine Gibson; they were members of River of Life Church, she preceded him in death on May 6, 2012. Paulie enjoyed being outdoors, riding his 4-wheeler, working hard at every job he had, helping out other people and spending time with his family and friends.

We'll miss Paulie most for his kind heart, helping hands, cheerful smile, joking around, but most of all just for being a very special man to so many people.

Paulie was preceded in death by his parents, Tince and Alta Chitwood, his wife, Katherine Gibson, and two sisters, Leann Lewis and Evalena Chitwood.

Paulie is survived by two sons, Kenny Chitwood of Poplar Bluff, MO, Darrell Combast of Bunker, MO, one daughter, Kathleen Combast of Ellington, MO, three step-children, Dawn Hart and husband Doug of Ellington, MO, Billy Gibson of Ellington, MO, Dave Davis and wife Kathleen of Oklahoma, two brothers, Johnny Chitwood and wife Susan, and Bobby Chitwood all of Ellington, MO, three sisters, Mae Rutter and husband Paul of Arcadia, MO, Doris Ring of Ellington, MO, Joyce Chitwood of Ellington, MO, two nieces, three nephews, several step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
