Agnes G. Eli, 82, of Crofton, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, at 4:38 a.m. at Christian Health Center of natural causes.
A native of Caldwell County, born Dec. 30, 1926, a daughter of the late Ralph and Lera Gracie Gallaher, she was a member of the Crofton Christian Church and homemaker as well as former board member of the Hawkins Cemetery Association, having served for 26 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ausby H. Eli, in 1982.
Survivors include a son, Ira Eli of Hopkinsville; a daughter Debbie Pritchett of Hopkinsville; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister Rachel Cavanaugh of Dawson Springs.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m. at the Crofton Christian Church with Brett Pritchett and the Rev. Mike Van Heyningen officiating.
Burial followed in Hawkins Cemetery.
Hughart and Beard Funeral Home in Crofton was in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Eli.
