Bessie L. Mosbey, age 83, of Piggott, Arkansas, died on Monday, August 6, 2001, in Piggott.

She was born on March 27, 1918, in Clay County, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Pat Albert and Sallie Bishop Greene.

She married Gene Mosbey on October 16, 1937, in Piggott. He preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Mosbey, of LaGrange, California.

She was a bookkeeper and was a member of the Piggott First Baptist Church.

She was survived by two daughters: Jana Corbett of Prescott Valley, Arizona, and Marilyn Roberson of LaGrange, California; one sister, Barbara Fuller of New Jersey; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 7, 2013, in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Piggott with Kent Barnes and David Pettis officiating.

Burial was in the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas.

Pallbearers were friends of the family.
