Again no date, and not sure where it came from but believe it to be from The Spectator, Ozark, Arkansas.

Funeral services for George Robert Hutchens 86, of Ozark were held Monday at 2 pm at Greer Chapel. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Hutchens, a retired farmer and stockman, died Dec 8, at the Ozark Nursing Home after an extended illness.
He was a native of Paris, but had spent most of his life in Ozark.

Survivors include his wife Virginia; two daughters, Mrs Clyde Primm, and Mrs. John Pruitt, both of Ozark; one sone Clyde of Detroit, Mich; two step-daughters Mrs. Ruby Tompkins, and Mrs. Oulah Abbott both of Ozark Four brothers Oscar, Arthur, Selmar, all of Braggs, Oklahoma and Carl of Geary, Oklahoma three sisters Mrs. Levi Smith, and Mrs. Minnie Shaffar, both of California, and Mrs. Gertie Shaw of Geary 11 grandchildren and 11 Great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Forrest Primm, Harold, Coy and Robert Pruitt, Claud Smith, and Peck Morris.

I would like to add Shaffer should be spelled Shaver, Clyde Hutchens, lived in Warren, at the time of his father's death not Detroit. Another son predeceased him Claude Hutchens of Detroit in 1957, and also that Mrs. Ruby Tompkins, Tompkins was her Maiden name don't believe that she ever Married.

Virginia was his 3rd wife, his 1st wife was Emma Bell (Price).

George Robert is my grandfather's 1st cousin. He is the son of William and Sarah (McGill) Hutchens.
