Elizabeth "Bette" R. (Pattee) Page, 85, of West Hartford, the loving wife of the late Paul F. Page for 64 years, passed away on Sunday, (August 8th, 2010) at Hughes Healthcare Center in West Hartford. Born in Campton, NH to the late George and Lillian (Mitchell) Pattee, Elizabeth was a longtime resident of Newington for 47 years before moving to West Hartford where she resided for the past seven years.

A graduate of Plymouth State Teacher's College in New Hampshire, she taught for 40 years, first in Laconia, NH, later becoming a teacher with the West Hartford Public Schools, retiring after 30 years. Elizabeth especially enjoyed teaching the elementary school grades. She was active with school PTA's, was a member of St. Mary's Church in Newington and was formerly a member of their choir. During her time at Atria Hamilton Heights, Elizabeth was engaged in the many social activities and enjoyed spending time with the other residents there.

She leaves her three sons, Mark Page and his wife Fernanda of West Hartford, Malcolm Page and his wife Jill of Hopkinton, MA, and David Page and his wife Vicki of Tampa, FL, and her five grandchildren, Jessica, Ryan, Corey, Connor and Baylee.

Elizabeth's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Atria Hamilton Heights and Hughes Healthcare Center for the compassionate care given to her.

Elizabeth's funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 13th at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave. Newington, CT 06111. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday from 9-10 a.m. at Newington Memorial immediately prior to the service. Interment will be private in Cowles Memorial Cemetery in Ipswich, MA.
