Roy M. (Vesty) Vesterfelt passed away Wednesday, February 5, 1986, at Bay Medical Center, Bay City after a lingering illness. Age 86 years. He was born Dec. 26, 1899 in Saginaw where he was a lifelong resident until moving to Bay City two years ago. He married Ottelia Willett April 16, 1936. She predeceased him in 1980. Roy was an ambitious hardworking person since boyhood being employed by Western Union Telegraph Company, Saginaw, later as the night supervisor for the A.D.T. Alarm System for 15 years and the C & O Railroad for 30 years as interlocking railroad tower operator, retiring in 1970.

Surviving is one daughter, Carolyn Wrona, Bay City; six grandchildren and their spouses, Gwen Rigler and her husband Jess, Richard Wrona and his wife Rhonda, Scott Wrona and Marianne, all of Bay City; Wayne Wrona and his wife Sue, Martin Leo Wrona and his wife Cathy, all of Melvindale; Jeffrey Jewell, Bay City; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, William and Ralph, both of Saginaw; Arthur of Bridgeport; Frank of Midland; one sister Irene Hazen, Fremont; several nieces and nephews. A brother, Robert predeceased him....burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens....
