William (Bill) Vincent Rear, 77, of Champaign, Illinois, passed away at 3:59 p.m. Thursday (May 2, 2013) at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
He was born on Oct. 11, 1935 in Urbana, Illinois, the son of Glen and Edna Rear. He married Patricia McWard on July 3, 1955. She survives.
Also surviving are his sister, Diane (Wayne) Weidner; three sons, Steve (Theresa) Rear, David (Dawn) Rear and Phillip (Rita) Rear; six grandchildren, Lori, John, Jimmy, Ben, Kate and Daniel; three great-grandchildren, Faith, Justus and Brooklyn and many nieces and nephews.
