LEAD WOMAN IS BURIED HERE

Burial services were held at the Spearfish cemetery Friday afternoon for Mrs. John Treweek, Lead woman who died December 18 at the Homestake hospital. Funeral services were held in the Episcopal church in Lead with the Reverend E. F. Siegfriedt in charge.

Surviving Mrs. Treweek are her husband and five daughters, Mrs. N. N. Babcock of Fanwood, New Jersey, Mrs. Dwayne Ellis, Mrs. Edward Krushamp, Irene Treweek, an army nurse who returned from India two weeks ago, and Betty Treweek, all of Lead; her mother, Mrs. Frank Allen, of Deadwood; and two sisters, Mrs. John Barry of Lead and Mrs. John Julius of Alliance, Nebraska.

Mrs. Treweek was born in Fort Pierre April 7, 1891. She moved to Hot Springs with her parents soon after her birth and a few years later the family moved to Deadwood. She was married October 12, 1911, to John Treweek of Deadwood. She and her husband have lived in Lead since their marriage.
