Malcolm Banks "Bunk" Nester, age 81, of Barren Springs, VA passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012 at his home.
He was born in Wythe Co., VA on February 21, 1931 the son of the late George Wise Nester and Masie Sutphin Lawson Nester.
Bunk was a member of the Glenwood United Methodist Church, was a retired engineer with the N & W Railroad (now the Norfolk & Southern) with 42 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ogle Nester, daughter, Angie Nester Payne and is survived by:

Avery Nester, Myra Edwards, Alysen Rorrer, Sarah Rorrer

Funeral services will be held 7:30 P.M. Monday, August 6, 2012 at the Glenwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Vass officiating.
A graveside committal service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 7, 2012 a the Sutphin Cemetery. Pulaski VFW Post # 1184 will conduct Military Graveside Rites.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 P.m. to 7:30 P.M. prior to the service.
