Charles G. Walton, resident of Coatesville for the past 93 years, died, last Tuesday, at his home there.

A native of Taylorsville, Kentucky, he was born Oct. 27, 1870. He was married to the late Mary Alice Walton, Sept. 5, 1894, in Coatesville. She died in 1954.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Coatesville Primitive Baptist Church for 53 years.

Survivors include six children, Chester and Forest Walton, Oregon; Olive and Lester Walton, Coatesville; Mrs. Minnie Snapp and Mrs. Elizabeth Hurst, Greencastle; a brother, Arthur Walton, Colorado; a sister, Emma Wilson, Oregon; 20 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services were Saturday afternoon from the Coatesville Chapel of the Weaver Funeral Home with the Rev. M. L. Starret officiating. Burial was in the Coatesville Cemetery.
