Gloria Joyce Gossett Services for Gloria Joyce Gossett will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 10:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gary Blair officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Gossett, 81, of Meridian, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Regency Hospital. Survivors include her daughters, Pamela G. McKee, Candy G. Irby and her husband Bruce; grandson, Jared K. McKee of Klamath Falls, OR; granddaughter, Kara D. Irby of Meridian, MS; sisters, Merle Irby and Retha Hastings; sister-in-law, Peggy Platt; special foster daughter, Annie Blanks; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene "Chic" Gossett; son, Robert Mark Gossett; parents, Will and Mittie Sellers; sisters and brothers, Hazel Tabort, Sally Mae Brown, Thelma Doris "Snooky" Birdsong and her husband Billy, William "Hot" Sellers, Everett (Josh) Sellers and his wife Jean, Wyvonne Powell and her husband Harold; nieces Tjwanna Sellers Beasley; nephew, Joe Hastings, Jr.; son-in-laws, James B. "Bo" Pigott, H. Leon McKee; brother-in-law, James E. (Jimmy) Gossett; mother-in-law, Ida Mae Gossett; father-in-law, Robert L. Gossett. Pallbearers will be Bruce Irby, Barry Murphy, Shane Sellers, Joe Moore and Robert Morris. The family requests donations be made to Central Baptist Church or The American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank you for the care given at Regency Hospital nursing staff, respiratory therapist and a special thank you to Dr. Edward Holmes.
