MINOT - Frank R. Field died, Thursday afternoon, at his home on the Center Minot road, Minot after a long illness. Mr. Field was born at Paris June 14, 1868, the son of Hiram and Metilda Ripley Field. He came to Minot 37 years ago. Mr. Field was a member of teh Center Minot Grange, P. of H., and was formerly a member of Abou Ben Adhem Lodge of Auburn. For a while, he was employed in the Dingley Foss Shoes Company of Auburn, but he had recently been a successful farmer. Surviving are his widow, the former Effie Hodsdon of Auburn; two sons, Everett W. Field of Minot, and Harlan H. Field of Auburn; a daughter, Mrs. Fred Ashton of Auburn; five sisters, Mrs. Estella A. Robertson of East Sumner, Miss. Eda I. Field of Norway, Mrs. Sarah M. Edwards of South Paris, Mrs. Mary A. Jack of North Buckfield and Mrs. Lena W. Farrar of Norway; two brothers, Lester M. Field of East Sumner and Frederick G. Field of Hemstead, N. H.; and five grandchildren.

In Minot, Aug 22. Frank R. Field, age 72. Funeral from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham and Son Sunday Aug 25, at 1 p.m. Interment at Mount Auburn.
