MOOTZ - Entered into rest January 5, 1S97, at 2:30 o'clock p. m., Sarah, beloved wife of Herman Mootz and mother of Lulu Karlsberg, Albertine Corry and Cornelia Mootz, aged 48 years.
Funeral from daughter's residence, 3909 Fairfax Avenue, Friday, January 8, at 9 o'clock a. m., thence to St. Paul's Church, thence to Holy Ghost Cemetery. Friends invited to attend. East St, Louia and Weathersford (Tex.) papers please copy.
Emigrated to the US very young, sometime before she was 5. Lived in New Orleans for some time. Married Adolphe Bornstein on 7 May, 1863 in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. Had 3 daughters; Juliette, Rosetta, Emily.
Then married Herman Mootz on 3 Feb, 1873 in Lake Providence, Carroll, Louisiana, and had 3 more daughters; Dora, Albertina, and Camelia.
Died of Chronic Pleurisy.
