Paul A. Packard of Binghamton Paul A. Packard, 90, of Binghamton, passed away Monday, June 14, 2004, in the privacy of his own home. He was predeceased by his parents, Phoebe Mae and Lemuel Packard; and his wife of 40 years, Evelyn Packard. He is survived by his wife Iva Packard; son, Jeffrey Packard; a daughter, Scarlett Harrold; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Packard, Jr., Jeremy Packard, Molly Packard, Tressa Packard, Lyndsey Packard, and Christian Harrold, Annapolis, Md.; great-grandson, Jayden Harrold; sister, Marion Fields; nieces, Betty Lawrence, Pauline Griswald, Phoebe Cornell, Ilene Taylor; nephews, Jack Owen and Jim Owen. Paul was the president of Pac Sign Co., Inc., from 1950 until 1988 when his son, Jeffrey Packard assumed that title and continues to operate today with 30 employees. He was a member of the West Chenango Methodist Church and a veteran of WWII. He loved to paint pictures and cartoons, and was a loving family man. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 18, 2004, at 11 a.m. with Rev. James A. Smith officiating at the Wm. R. Chase and Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson. Interment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
