Samuel Kenneth Bonebrake, 53, of 316 Cherry Tree Circle, died unexpectedly at 8 a.m. Saturday. He was born on August 27, 1917, in Franklin County, Pa., the son of Jacob and Lucy W. Hahn Bonebrake.

He was employed by the Western Maryland Railway as a road foreman of engines. He had been employed by the railway for 34 years.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Louise E. McCoy Bonebrake; one son, Samuel Kenneth Bonebrake Jr., at home; three daughters, Miss Kaye Louise Bonebrake of Hagerstown, Mrs. Donald Baker of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Miss Brenda Sue Bonebrake of Richmond, Va.; one grandson; three brothers, J. Marion Bonebrake of Rt. 3, Waynesboro, H. Fred Bonebrake of Rt. 1, Greencastle and Robert G. Bonebrake of Hagerstown; and five sisters, Mrs. Anna Showe of Rt. 6, Hagerstown, Mrs. Julia Aldridge of Hagerstown, Mrs. Eugene Martin of Rt. 5, Chambersburg, Mrs. Paul Talhelm of Rt. 1, Greencastle, and Mrs. Paul Keckler of Rt. 2, Waynesboro.

Services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Rest Haven Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J. Ralph Wenger officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends may call at the Minnich-Miller Funeral Home in Greencastle, on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 or at the Rest Haven Chapel on Wednesday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Memorial services will be held by the Elks Lodge of Hagerstown on Tuesday evening at 7 at the Minich-Miller Funeral Home.
