Dr. Arthur Dalgleish died April 14, 2013, at the age of 92.

Mr. Dalgleish was a resident of Coarsegold for 23 years.

He was born Aug. 14, 1920, in Wilmington.

Mr. Dalgleish was a teacher and retired professor from Loma Linda University, where he taught for 45 years. He had a PhD. in biology and enjoyed gardening, nature, photography and watercolor painting.

Mr. Dalgleish was a student of the Bible and biblical prophecy, and attended Oakhurst Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was also a cabinet maker.

He is survived by wife Helen Dalgleish; daughter Kathryn Gregory; son Dr. Gerald Dalgleish; grandsons Major Dwight Christiansen (U.S. Army), David Christiansen, and Roger Delgleish; granddaughter Nicole Dalgleish; great-granddaughter Krystal Christiansen; sister Marilyn Thunquest; and brother Milton Dalgleish.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 3 at Oakhill Cemetery, with a memorial service to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4 at the Oakhurst Seventh-day Adventist Church, 50690 Crane Valley Road (426), Oakhurst.
