Agnes Elizabeth Belote, 86, a resident of the Riverside Convalescent Center in Newport News, Va., formerly of Belle Haven, passed away at her residence on Friday, Jan. 11, 2008.
Born on June 25, 1921 in Savageville, Va., she was the daughter of the late Garland P. Belote and Annie Core Belote. She was a homemaker, former member of Onancock Baptist Church and enjoyed drawing pencil sketches.
Survivors include a brother and his wife of Leesburg, Va.; four nephews; and one great-niece. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary C. Duer; and a brother, Revel F. Belote Sr.
Funeral services were conducted from the graveside at the Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Onancock on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Brian Kramer officiating.
