Mr John Cannon, an old citizen of Lincoln County, died at the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. David Howdeshell, on the 12th inst. He was in the 82nd year of his age, and a resident of Lincoln County, 54 years. As a citizen and neighbor, he was universally respected, and few men have lived so long and so well, discharging every duty with faithfulness to God and man.
