Dorothy was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She was a devoted member of Triangle Baptist Church.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Wayne Thomas; daughter Barbara Stone; sister Blanche Matthews; grandchildren Wayne Thomas, Janice Ganoe, Lisa Perry, Patty Dent, Mike Thomas, Barbie McCommack and Jason Stone; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her loving companion, Wilber Segar, and his family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Thomas; daughter Ann Perry; grandchildren Robbie Perry and Chuckie Thomas; sister Ruby McBryde; and brother, Robert Bailey.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 3, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford, where a funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4. Interment will take place at 9 a.m. Monday, May 6, in Quantico National Cemetery.
