Graveside services for Johnny Lyndell Hargrove, 67 of Mexia will be 10 a.m. Friday April 6, 2007 in Forest Glade Cemetery. Rev. David Bolden, pastor of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Mexia will officiate with interment following in the Forest Glade Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday night at Blair - Stubbs Funeral Home.
Mr. Hargrove was born April 30, 1939 in Littlefield, Texas to John William and Ora Lee Grimsley Hargrove and passed away on April 3, 2007 at his residence. He was a carpenter for Ben Bell Construction Co. for 25 years working mainly on Indian Reservations in Arizona. He was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Mexia. He lived in Donie for 13 years and the last 19 years in Mexia.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Hargrove of Mexia; children, Earnie Warneke of Houston, John Hargrove of Waxahachie, Debbie Stockon of Haltom City, Mark Hargrove of Teague, Glenn Warneke of Houston, Jan Starnes of Flower Mound, Michael Warneke of Lake Mexia and Sam Hargrove of Grand Prairie; grandchildren, Michala Warneke, Sharrae Warneke, Ryan Warneke, Bobby Alderholt, Jason Aderholdt, Amber Aderholt, Kriste Starnes, Jenny Starnes, Tiffany Strong, Marcus Hargrove, Jeffery Hargrove, Stephanie Hargrove, and Little Sam Hargrove.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
