Daily Democrat, Clinton MO, May 6 2013 - Edyth A. Bowring, 98, died peacefully Wednesday, April 30 2013, at Indian Creek Health Care Center in Overland Park, KS. Edyth was born August 2, 1914, at Deepwater to William and Cora Schmidli. She was the oldest of seven children. Edyth was married to Raymond Alburtis in 1941 and lived in Springfield before moving to Kansas City, Kansas, in 1948 where she worked for Guarantee Abstract Co. for 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed her work and friends she made there. She was a faithful member of the London Heights Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas. Edyth married Robert Bowring in 1979. She enjoyed retirement and was especially fond of her pets. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Bowring. Edyth is survived by three brothers, Bill Schmidli of Malin, OR, Ted Schmidli of Klamath Falls, OR, and Maurice Schmidli of Pasco, WA; one sister, Lois C. Raynes of Harrisonville; two stepsons, Robert and Chris Bowring, and many nieces and nephews.
