Mary L. Landis, 74, of Waycross Drive, died Saturday at 6:30 a.m. at Columbus Convalescent Center. Funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street, with the Rev. Ross Wallace officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday. Burial will be at Daugherty Cemetery.
She retired from Sap's Bakery and had worked at CP Electronics in Columbus. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Senior Center. She was born in Lexington, Ind., Jam, 5, 1916, the daughter of Leonard and Louisa Rudder Burchfield. She married Earl H. Landis Sept 5, 1949. He died Feb. 23, 1981.
Mrs. Landis is survived by a stepson, Charles R. Landis of Columbus; a brother, Thomas Burchfield of Oregon; two sisters, Golda Arbuckle of Scottsburg and Margaret Palmer of Oregon; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
