Funeral services were held at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 14th, with the Rev. Raymond Brown officiating. Burial was made at Oakwood Cemetery, Honey Grove.
Pallbearers were Vernie Hall, Charles DeVault, Don Kincaid, Doyle Chapman, Johnny Mills and Millard Brent.
Mrs. Coston was born at Honey Grove September 23, 1913 the daughter of the late R. B. Shields and Addie Richardson Shields.
She was married April 14, 1944 at Bonham to Felton Coston.
She had been an employee of Bonham Manufacturing Co. as a presser. She was a member of hte Baptist Church at Dodd City.
Survivors include her husband, Felton Coston of the home; one son, Felton Wayne Coston of Durant, Okla.; one brother, Jean Shields of Carrollton; four sisters, Mrs. Lonnie Justus, Mrs. Virgil Mullins, Mrs. Lillie Robinson, all of Honey Grove and Mrs. Betty Simpson of Fort Worth; and two grandchildren.
