Mr. Caza was a native of Syracuse. He lived in Auburn before moving to New Hope in 1969. He worked at Larribee Wire Co. in Jordan until his retirement in 1990.
He was a communicant of St. Ann's Church, Owasco.
Surviving are his wife, the former Jean Muldoon; five sons, Robert of Moravia, Peter of Port Byron, Thomas of Auburn, Kevin of New Hope and Christopher of Niles; three daughters, Catherine Corgnell of Lake Alfred, Fla., and Barbara Bell and Sheila Badman, both of Niles; a brother, Joseph of Niles; three sisters, Jeanette Grant of Scipio, Juliette Byrne of Auburn and Marie Hilliard of Moravia; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Wade Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 22 Church St., Moravia. Contributions may be made to New Hope Fire Department Rescue.
