Adah Verah SHIRLEY was born on a
farm near the Union Church on Sep
1882, and passed away at the home
in Unionville, Dec 16, 1933.
She moved with her parents, when a
small child, to Unionville, which has
since been her home. She attended
the public schools of Unionville and
later the Chillicothe Business College
and for some time was employed as
cashier for the Monroe Drug Co., while
it was located in Unionville.
On Dec 19, 1906, she was
united in marriage to Dr. J.D. Hayward,
and to this union was born one daughter,
Shirley Maxine. A niece, Letha Marjorie
SHIRLEY, makes her home with them.
She leaves to mourn her departure
also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.H.
SHIRLEY.
The funeral service was conducted
by Rev. G.J. Hunsinger. Interment
was made in the Unionville Cemetery.
